Yesterday the whole family went to the local fruit stand. We wanted to get some peaches to make peach cobbler. We ended up getting the peaches as well as some grape tomatoes, oranges, kiwi fruit, bananas, and a fresh peach milk shake that was awesome!

R was especially excited to make the peach cobbler and could barely hold back making it until today.

Surprisingly, GA thought it was "too sweet" and only ate a few bites. I-mac enjoyed it, kept calling it "cake" and singing happy birthday to herself while she was eating it.

Peach Cobbler recipe: *3 cups fresh peaches, cut up *3/4 stick butter *1 cup flour *1&1/3 cups sugar *1 cup milk *2 tsp baking powder.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and put the butter in a 9x13 pan in the oven to melt the butter. Put peaches on  top of melted butter. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, milk, and baking powder. Pour over the peaches. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown around the edges and the cobbler is set.
