Has been one busy month! The month started off with a bang and Imac was home sick with a fever for the first 3 days of December. We celebrated my mom's 69th birthday on December 3rd. Had Georgia's first soccer game on the 6th, followed by shopping at the Scrapbook Expo that was in town and, later, going out for my friend Amy's 39th birthday! We had dinner and saw Four Christmases at the new Cinebistro in Wesley Chapel. It was fun, but kind of hard to eat your dinner in the dark! Sunday R hit the range and later we had dinner with my family to celebrate mom's birthday. After dinner, my mom said she would watch the girls if R and I wanted to  go to a movie, so we decided to see Twilight. Both of us had read the series of books and wanted to see "the vision" of the author. It was a decent movie, but I enjoyed the books much more.

Late Sunday/early Monday Georgia came into our room complaining of ear pain. Joy! I gave her some tylenol and sent her back to bed. First thing Monday morning, called into the Pediatrician and got a 9am appointment. Took both girls to the doctor and they BOTH have ear infections. More joy! The nurse ended up using some numbing ear drops on GA's ears because she was crying from the pain. She's not dramatic at all - saying things like "My ear is killing me" "I'm going to be dead because my ear hurts so much" "My ear is just annoying me", etc... So both girls are on a 10 day regimen of antibiotics and both of them missed the first two days of school this week.

Wednesday the 10th - everything is pretty much back to normal so we headed out to get our Christmas tree. With all of the sickness we just hadn't had a chance to get our tree yet. We decided on a beautiful Douglas Fir:

And back to crazy busy Friday today. R took GA to soccer practice on his own tonight since Imac is still coughing and such from her cold/ear infection and I didn't want her running around in the cold night air.

Another busy weekend and the 12 days of Christmas start tomorrow! We will be headed to a Walk through Bethlehem program and hopefully to see Santa this weekend, too!
